Welcome to Growing Children with Challenges
Early Intervention

All services are individualized for each child and family with a focus on the child’s unique developmental needs and abilities. Culturally appropriate services enhance a child’s learning style and development. Our specialists support and encourage the family’s involvement in all intervention activities. The family is an integral part of the success of the child.

Growing Children with Challenges is an Early Intervention agency that provides coaching support and services to families with children, from birth to age 3. Our goal is to provide services that help families to develop their child’s potential. Early Intervention builds upon the natural learning opportunities that occur within the daily routines of a child and their family. The services’ purpose is to help families meet the developmental needs of their children. Services and supports available through EI are designed to help eligible infants/toddlers meet developmental milestones.

Early Intervention supports services and resources for children that enhance daily opportunities for learning provided in settings where a child would be if they did not have a developmental delay, provides families’ independence and competencies, and respects families’ strengths, and values. Services are designed to meet the developmental needs, as well as the needs of the family related to enhancing the child’s development in one or more of the following areas:

  • Communication development
  • Cognitive development
  • Social or emotional development
  • Physical development
  • Adaptive development

Growing Children with Challenges agency provides services in-person, virtually (tele-intervention) or hybrid (in-person and virtually).

Early Intervention services are provided at no cost to families.
